Bruh I play bass what am I doing here

I appreciate this level of orangeness.

The analogy of "bouncing someone on your knee" is gonna save so much time for newer drummers.

This is a great video and is hardly a ‘hack’. It’s just great information by a great drummer and educator.

That piano analogy was crazy on point. Well done, man!

This was like an answer to my prayers! Just yesterday, I tried to find a video on this topic but couldn’t. Thank you so much!

The simple hack I've learned while training is that there are no simple hacks and you lower your head and practice exercises like these and train your muscles and brain to to it in a neat clean way and there is that.

Great video! Very helpful.

will try this 30 days, let's see

I've watched every video, read every article, and practiced for countless hours for the last 23 years and I still can't do the slide technique... I give up

Man, thank you for teaching us and sharing your knowledge and experience.

I've been trying to improve my foot speed for many months now. My drum teacher said my technique is good and that I just have to keep working at it. I haven't really improved, and some days I get even slower and have to work back up to where I've already been. I like the way you've explained things here; I have a bit of optimism now. Do you have any advice for when I'm just not getting faster? any exercises you'd do?

Great video, concepts, and exercises! Awesome job!

That’s the biggest pop filter I’ve ever seen 😂

You helped me a lot, thanks man!

abt the piano analogy - same thing applies to push n pull technique for single handed rolls! it clicked after seeing that analogy WHY. so thank you Dim! 🙏🏾

the way the pedal is adjusted is very important to bounce the beater

Dude, this video is great, thank you!
