Really cool that you reacted to a Mike Oldfield song. Imo he is a fantastic song writer with a lot of great songs: "Islands", "Pictures in the dark", "To France", "Five miles out", "Shadows on the wall". He has worked with several very talented singers, especially with Bonnie Tyler.

Maggie is the original singer who did 'Everytime We Touch' in 1992. Cascada did a version in 2005 😊

That's Mike playing guitar on Maggie's immediate left. The guy was an absolute genius to have written something as beautiful as this was back then. The '80's was an incredible decade for great music, and this track in particular, is a prime example. Massive shout out to Maggie too. Her voice was so iconic and it identified her immediately.

Mike Oldfield is a genius and one of the greatest musicians and guitarists ever, he is a true original. This is his most famous vocal song. He is primarily known for his instrumental music, but he also has lots of songs. Maggie Reilly worked a lot with Mike, check out To France which she sang with Mike, also check out The Time Has Come by Mike, he has his then partner, Anita Hegerland on vocals, she's a great singer. Mike does sing, one of his best performances is Heavens Open.

"To France", "High Places" ft. Jon Anderson are some of the best from this era of Mike Oldfield. "Into Wonderland" is bit earlier. "Mike Oldifield's Single" gives a glimpse of his Oldfield's 70's era instrumental music.
