Masha has long been in love with Sakhalin and the history of the Don Cossacks. Recently, she has developed another passion: family tree. The whole family has taken up the family tree, reaching back to the eighth generation, and has also started a tradition of collecting unique family albums in which each story is carefully preserved.
Masha is a geoecologist by training, and this is also evident in the home: her son enthusiastically collects rocks, and in the children's room, maps replace the usual posters. While on maternity leave, Masha returned to her favorite childhood pastimes, sewing and embroidery, and what began as a hobby gradually turned into a business—she now works as a tailor from home. She and her husband love to travel around Russia, creating their own unique routes, and on weekends, the whole family hops on bikes and goes for rides together.
Masha's current apartment is already her third home and third renovation. They started with a white box: together with my husband, we completed the main stages in two weeks: painting the walls, wallpapering, laying the floor, installing window sills, laying the tiles, and partially assembling the furniture. Then, with the children in tow, the renovation continued for about another month: contractors installed the ceilings and doors, assembled the kitchen, and Masha and her husband finished the rest—the furniture and decor—the rest of the work themselves, after they were already living in the apartment, for another two months. In total, the renovation took three months.
