That final scene, of when Diego gives his blessing to Alejandro and Elena before passing away, is never not moving.

We don't get movies like this anymore.

loved this movie as a kid, watched it sooo many times.

This isn’t a 2 vs 2 swordfight, it’s two separate swordfights happening at the same time.

I still feel sad when I see Diego die. I mean, for Zorro fans... Diego de la Vega IS Zorro. That's like watching Bruce Wayne die and give the mantle of Batman to someone else.

I love the fact that Diego wins against Raphael and gets his revenge on him posthumously. He knows he’s gonna die and accepts his fate. So he uses the last bit of his strength to land the killing blow on Raphael. Just before spending his last moments giving his blessing to Alejandro and Elena before succumbing to his injury and dying peacefully in his arms.

It’s a real shame we don’t get a good swashbuckling movie like this anymore

This scene is incredible when you think about two zorros fighting their enemies one last time.

wow, what a writing and directing craftsmanship of the best kind! I didn't remember those details!
he says "I am free... to kill you" he makes the pause to add the 2nd meaning behind the line!, and the villain by making a bad step is being killed by the very gold he wanted, and the other guy basically loses because of his uncontrolled rage...
Pure Poetry. I didn't remember how wonderfully this story was told!

It's hilarious how the sound guy keep mixing in the panther growl in this film. Explosions, fires, that fist punching through dirt scene...

I don't envy the movie crew that had to clean up all those pieces of wood after.
