hiii i'm so sorry i feel like this video is so rubbish😭 i've honestly just been finding it really hard to be motivated the last few weeks and it's kinda show in my uploads i guess:( i defo wanted to post today cause i didn't want to miss another sunday upload so i hope you guys still enjoy the video! just a reminder that feelings like this (and especially during this time) are very normal and i've been prioritising spending time with friends, family and doing things i enjoy:) also listening to podcasts about 'how to get out of a winter slump' has definitely been helpful!! thank you all for watching today's video xx

I wash my bed sheets like once a week.
And girl, I love your videos, and you are legit my source of motivation sometimes when I'm just not in the mood to do what I need to do. Seeing that your life isn't full glamour 24/7 has just made you a bigger motivation and inspiration to me.

My first year going to uni and living away from home I used to cry almost every day and I was struggling so much mentally. Take things one by one, know that what you’re experiencing is super common and that you’ll be fine. It’s such a change of environment, be easy on yourself! 💗 you’ll soon start to get into the motion of things and start feeling like uni is also your home 🥰

the autumn/winter slump is hitting hardddd this year so here's a few tips if it can be useful:
1) i wash my sheets every two weeks but I feel like it's okay to leave them on for longer
2) whenever I feel unmotivated to work I try to make it as fun as possible, like I literally revise for my exams by doing quizzes on the internet (I(m a history major so there's a bunch to do)
3) i have like 3-4 recipes that I enjoy eating and that don't take long to make (pasta with cheese, soup, rice with mushrooms) so it doesn't tea cup too much mental energy to cook
4) also when I'm feeling like getting through the day is gonna be tough I try to plan something "fun" for after class (reading time, going out, painting, etc. just things I enjoy doing!)
5) I take walks! it actually helps so much but since the sun is going down at 5 pm it's been harder to find the time for them lately :(

Pretty sure bedsheets should be washed once a week :) Especially if you do not shower before bed every day – I do, but I still change them weekly. If washing is expensive at your uni, then maybe have 2 sets of sheets, so you can change them weekly, but wash the bi-weekly.

amy thank you so much for this video I honestly think its so refreshing to see people openly have bad days and still keep going and building disapline even when feeling unmotivated.💓💓

Something that I found super helpful for remembering how to spell pharmacology drug names is to use the typing out card option on anki, maybe you can try that with the bacteria names xx
