I think the best banh mi is the one in your hands. I haven't had a bad one and they have all been delicious in their own way! But my favorite is always cha siu and egg extra spicy. Wonderful video as always Ted!

I've tried Banh Mi Huynh Hoa. My friend packeted it back to my hotel for me and we shared it. Yes, the portion is huge enough for two persons to share. To me, the taste and ingredients are both fanastic!! I like every single ingredient including the pickled radish .. the only exception is the chili (avoid biting into them)!!

he picked the top bun me HONG HOA same like the chic on what the pho! good choice cuz its big and overall balanced with all the toppings put on already pho u! its not as big in size as Huynh Hoa

Bánh mì Huynh Hoa trước đây có 2 bà chủ. Sau đó 1 bà chủ rời đi và lập nên tiệm bánh mì bà Huynh ( madam Win). Vì vậy 2 chiếc bánh mì này cơ bản khá tương tự nhau về nhân và kích thước bánh lớn. Ăn ít thì ngon, nhưng ăn nhiều thì cảm giác rất ngán.

Try Bánh mì chảo in your next time to Vietnam, it's another type of bánh mì but all the filling is cooked and served in a pan.

I went to Bánh Mì Huynh Hoa in HCM and then had it with a coffee across the road. I felt sick after eating it. Not in a food poisoning way, but in, a, it was too rich and fatty type of way. I also didn't enjoy that I had to try and assemble the salad in the sandwich myself. When I think about it, they just lathered too much pate onto the roll.
