We're back with a few horror books I've enjoyed over the summer months. Stories that I consider among the best of the year and that have surprised me immensely. In this video, we'll talk about inherited possessions, macabre tales, pulp stories set in 1930s Madrid, cults in the Alpujarra region, unforgettable classics, a meta-literary nightmare, and a unique essay on the work of Lovecraft. Each and every one of these books deserves a bit of attention, as they've provided me with a fantastic experience.
The contents of today's video are distributed as follows:
00:00:00 Introduction.
00:01:90 Seed, by Ania Ahlborn.
00:05:51 Talking with the Dead, by Lola Ancira.
00:09:25 The Smoke of the Dead, by Daniel P. Espinosa.
00:13:13 Fade to Black, by Jesús Cañadas.
00:16:08 Something Wicked This Way Comes, by Ray Bradbury.
00:21:37 Nightmare in the Rain, by Naomi Hintze.
00:26:10 The Hollow House, by Jesús Relinque.
00:32:09 H.P. Lovecraft, the Reinvention of Terror, by Leandro Pinto.
00:37:41 Vamps, The Bloodsuckers.
00:40:53 Goodbye
