Yall need to do NF "remember this" if you want BARS!!

You really need to watch his old work to appreciate the progress in his act, lyricism, and overall artistry.

The kid at the end was one of the 2 fans at his first show in "When I grow up" music video. It was a nice nod, i believe, to fans who rocked with him all the way back when he was first blowing up. Definitely recommend checking his old stuff too. He has such great progression in his music and tells a story from start to now.

NF’s entire discography is tied together. It’s like watching a tv series. Can’t skip to season 5, go back and listen/watch his old videos. He’s a genius

The black balloons have always represented his burdens that he carries with him wherever he goes.

You really gotta listen to his old stuff to understand his new stuff. He's gone through a big transformation. His songs are literally all connected with each other; it's a whole route you take from the beginning to end (with dozens of references to older songs and a lot of symbolism and metaphors, like the black balloons being his burdens for example). Also, all the people in this videoclip are actually fans of him. I would recommend listening to songs like "The Search", "Mansion", "Why", "Leave me alone", "Remember this". Actually all of his old songs lol.
