The first time you play as a black dude, the games tells you to steal a bike.

I played a shit ton of Arkham City as a 13 year old....didnt turned outta be a billionaire playboy who dresses and beats the living hell outta goons at night....

Just played GTA for 4 hours straight, I think I might go on a murderous rampage now.... said literally no-one ever

Parents : buys 18+ games for kids
Sees gameplay
Surprised pickachu face

my favorite controversy was the one where the kid shot up people at his school and then GTA V came out 2 days after the shooting but 5 days BEFORE his trial and at the trial they said GTA V influenced his shooting at the school...o.O wait... what?

"I see that it says 18+ on the cover. but hey, I'll buy it for my kid."

(sees the gameplay)

"these damn video games are poisoning young minds!!"

"Won't anyone think of the children?!"
"We did. That's why the game is rated R"
Boom. Case closed.

GTA IV: exists

Jack Thompson: It’s free real estate

If you can't handle an 18+ game, do the incredible thing and NOT PLAY THE 18+ GAME. but don't try stop the rest of us from enjoying it

Bruh, Pokemon doesn't make me want to take up cockfighting, Mario doesn't make me wanna kill turtles and take mushrooms, Zelda doesn't wanna make me stab things, but GTA will turn me into a psychotic killer?

Hey... Parents... Learn to read.

And dad brought me GTA 3 when I was 6
He thought it's a racing game

Torture scene in a movie - no one cares.
Torture scene in video game - everyone flips their shit.

Movies that feature someone being dismembered, disfigured, killed, tortured, possessed, raped, bombed, traumatized, dehumanized, beaten, shot, hanged, abused, bullied to suicide, cut completely in half, stolen from, drowned, eaten alive, buried alive, sliced in the stomach area, in a murder-suicide, or even framed is considered fine for kids to see in the theater, but when Rockstar tries to delete code or physical evidence of a 'hot coffee' mod in the files but the kids still access it? "I must sue Rockstar for showing such horrific acts!!"...why did you buy your kid the game in the first place?

The actress that said the women in GTA look like her. I feel like it is comparing a nasty toilet to a gold Bugatti.

... okay. So if I play Assassins Creed enough, I'll become a masterful sneaky Assassin while saving the world from corruption and templars? Sounds good to me!

things that happen in GTA that happens in movies is fine
but in a video game ohhh noo this will make my kids violent

Child: Hey mommy, can I play this game that says MA 17+ on it?!

Mom: K, got you.

One thing I never understood is why little kids parents always cry about what happens in gta like the game is rated M if your kid is younger than 17 he shouldn't even be playing the game

The thing is GTA is rated 18+ so why should they have to sensor everything in the first place, obviously humans just like to have a moan 99.9% about anything! Especially the one who run the system
