This rare sonic relic channels the spirit of the African liberation movement through heavy Nyabinghi drums, deep rolling basslines, militant roots rhythms, hypnotic guitar skanks, and prophetic vocals calling for unity, justice, and the awakening of a generation. Every rhythm carries a message, every melody tells a story, and every lyric echoes the struggles and hopes of the people.
YOUTH OF AFRICA is more than a forgotten reggae recording. It is a spiritual call to the sons and daughters of Africa, a musical tribute to the ancestors, and a rallying cry for those who refuse to surrender their identity, freedom, and cultural heritage. Through the sounds of roots, Rastafari teachings, and revolutionary consciousness, Ras Kedarro delivers a timeless message of strength, resistance, and redemption.
Inspired by the golden age of 1970s roots reggae, this imagined lost album captures the raw atmosphere of an era when music became a voice for the oppressed and a powerful instrument of cultural expression. From the thunder of the drums to the warmth of the bass and the haunting cries of the vocalist, every moment invites you into a world where Africa lives in the heart of the rhythm.
Let the drums speak. Let the bass roll. Let the message rise.
