Exactly what I was looking for my granddaughters and I don't have to buy a pattern YEAH. I don't have a serger, but I find zig zag stitches work just fine with knit material. I especially like the elastic method. So much easier than making a casing. Thank you ladies.

Looke easy to do.  Wish they had shown the heming process.  For sewing hem on regular machine what do you need?  Size twin needle, type of thread, stitch length?

you fail to say the yardage of material needed to make the skirt.
