I feel like Tina has a lot of emotional issues that are unsolved. It seems like every activity she is negative but I think she’s just struggling on the inside

That was not a meltdown. That was a trauma response. I don’t like this title. A meltdown is a temper tantrum with either screaming in anger or crying because something didn’t go your way. That is NOT what happened here. If they would’ve said broke down crying or she had a traumatic reaction it would be more accurate. I just wanted to give her a hug

I completely understand why Tina was upset, tough love doesn’t work with everyone. Personally I’ve always worked better with positive encouragement. Tough love just makes me shut down... 🤷🏻‍♀️

I ABSOLUTELY love Vanessa’s attitude!! I think she’s going to go far. And, because of that, Meghan is going to go far too!! I think Vanessa is the friend with an awesome attitude that going to help Meghan through everything.

As a trainer this makes me sad to watch… there are so many ways to make people welcome into your gym and this is not the right way. The gym needs to be their safe space, not a place they are scared of. I feel for these ladies and wish they had a better first experience

Kind of impressed that they tried a workout like this. Thing is, throwing yourself in the deepend like this can cause a negative association with exercise. You have to love something to stay consistent with it. Start slow, build your confidence gradually.

I was proud of Vanessa for having so much fun and doing her best. For Tina- I totally got it. That can be very triggering, when you have trauma from your past of loud aggressive men and all of a sudden, loud men are shouting orders at you.
I'm glad she went back and carried on

I was ready to start typing a heated response about Tina.. but I get it, I really do. I grew up with a lot of abuse from males in my childhood, & when someone is screaming / shouting at you like that, even though it’s meant to be motivational, it can feel really traumatic regardless of how many years have passed. Not everyone works in the same way; sometimes a softly softly approach can be just as motivational as the loud whistles & shouting.
Proud of all of these ladies for doing that! It’s not easy!

The trainer Angel seemed nice, calm and encouraging. I understand Tina’s frustration, because they were doing too much for someone’s first time in that environment. Everybody doesn’t like yelling.

I am actually impressed with Vanessa, is she the biggest one in the blue shirt, I think she is. She was putting her all into it

I’ve been working out in gyms for 40 plus years. I am so impressed with these ladies. That is a killer workout. Keep going!

I don't like to be yelled at either ! I would not stay there with them yelling at me . There's a better way to motivate people then yelling ...

My Dad would show his anger through yelling and screaming. To this day if someone screams (whether it's at me or not) my anxiety spikes, I completely understand her breakdown
