People ask me "What's your favorite Tool song?" and I in turn ask "What day is it?" They say "Tuesday" and I say "The Grudge" but it's all bravado built upon a bed of lies. My favorite Tool song is the last one I heard because it's still bouncing around in my soul. Tool stands alone.

The intro and outro wave sounds were recorded at Danny's house in Malibu.

Just a frickin masterpiece. An auditory, philosophical, and spiritual journey.

Tool’s anthem a call to arms to save us…

"not many Tool songs with solos"
7empest reporting for duty 🤣

Cool. I’m the first responder!! Haven’t seen your reaction, but I already know that it blew your mind. It’s one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES!!

And this is why Tool is my favorite band

Perfect for a sit and melt in the sauna in the evening after a shitty day at work. The whole Fear Inoculum experience works.

When you asked how many Tool songs have solos put a sinister smile on my face... awaits '7empest' 🎸😈

You should see this shit live.

Straight up wizards of sonics and lyrics.

keep an eye out for the alt version of this song. they've been playing it live every couple weeks

TOOL is so effing good. There’s no other way to say it. Every instrument (and the man who plays it) is next level, and Maynard’s lyrics are from another dimension. I agree with you. It’s not fair that all 4 of these musical geniuses are in one band. But I’m glad they are, because I love every masterpiece they create, and there are many.

I'm so thankful for Tool. I fucking love music, but Tool is the only band that give me a feeling no other can.

Stir us from our wanton slumber is the theme for at least the last 8 years. Happy Super Tuesday!

10,000 days is their best work. They have so many elite songs!!! “Lost Keys” and “Rosetta Stoned” are meant to go together and is up there with Descending!
