My memory could be confusing them with other brands but I am sure that you used to get 6 in a pack not 4

Glad I saw this. Put the Tesco order in yesterday, and put down the raspberry/lemon whirls to try. When I saw you were reviewing them thought I might have to go on and take them off....but glad I won't need to....aha! Glad you liked 'em. Tried the custard cream ones before....just like custard cream biscuits that have gone stale....ugh!

Must admit about a year ago, I really fancied a cake, I know ANY shop bought cake doesn't compare home baked. SO, I've been baking ever since. Every Sunday without fail. I do a mean drizzle cake & my home made lemon & blueberry muffins with a crumble top i could legit live on. I prefer a cake that actually has a decent, genuine taste & isn't packed with preservatives to last 6mnths. Mine barely last the week out. Any home baked cake is cheaper & will always taste awesome. Shop bought cakes these days just dont come close. 🌟

Ridiculously expensive , and in most cases just like eating a bag of sugar. Another company trading on its very well known name , and nothing else.

I had the strawberry ones.  I didn't read the box and thought it would be a cream filling, but they were just dry and sweet.  They have an overpowering, artificial strawberry flavour.  One bite, and I fed them to the bin. As a baker, I make my own strawberry tarts with pastry, a a mock cream filling (like dream topping), a fresh strawberry, and strawberry (bakers') piping jelly, covering it all.

I was excited to try the custard cream whirls (as I also make my own) and the bite I had was full of tears and regret.  The trouble is, whirls are made with a melting moment-style recipe, and if you want that freshness of the whirl, you have to fill and eat right away, or they will have that softer consistency due to the actual recipe, plus the custard-style buttercream filling.  Homemade ones are sometimes called custard creams because they contain vanilla extract and custard powder.

I know it’s the whole point that you talk about it but telling us you think they need to be a bit bigger is wild. Even if every consumer was shouting it from the rooftops the chances of them taking a loss on profits to adjust is 0😂 They don’t care mate surely you review enough to know that. End of the day you’ll still buy it and so will others

Very expensive (at least they are in Australia 🙂), highly processed, and for the amount of ingredients involved the flavour is ok. I can make cakes with loads of flavour and very few ingredients for a lot less money. I have sometimes bought Mr Kipplings just because I've been sucked in by the pretty box but am generally disappointed on eating them.

Can’t believe how the originals have gone up in price xx I’m commenting lol before I watch everyone in front of u are a1£ near me and the custard cremes are the best xxx
