The saga of Ray muting his mic to diss his friends not reading the rules and making the talking hand motion when they complain is pretty funny ngl

I feel Ze personifies the meme, "That sign won't stop me because I can't read!"

This tournament just reminds me of the old achievement hunter GO videos where Ray would just get his free pizza parties

I feel like there's a little karma behind the crazy RNG Ray gets. Ray's unique strategy seems to be:

Read the minigame instructions
Look at the map
Use his items

And the game turns around and says, "There's no way I can let these other papayas win"

Everybody: RAYS LUCK IS WAY TOO STRONG

RAY: looks at map, uses items at opportune times, reads minigame instructions.

Ze saw there was no key in this game and immediately checked out

They should do community chosen bonus stars with stats from all the games combined.

Have a strawpoll with options  like “ most bowser spaces landed on” or “least items used”.  “most coins total” or “most stars lost”. The options are endless.

That way in true mario party fashion even when the tournament is over there will be more stars to give out. Possibly changing the results.

Ze's complete inability to understand how to play a mini game the first time he plays it may legitimately be my favorite reoccurring shtick in this tournament

40:54 Ray going off on chat's excessive backseat gaming, ya love to see it

Seriously, someone call the gas company to check Ze's house for a leak. I'm worried about him

I swear everyone on here that isn't Ray is on different levels of ganja with how they read them rules lollll

Ray's dominance. Ze's aloofness. Chill's backstabbing. All these combined to break Platy's mind there at the end.
Especially at 4:51:30

Platy can't read a map
Also Platy: THIS IS YOUR FAULT RAY!

2:33:50 the best part is the deafening silence from the other three guys.

Ray, Platy, and Chilled: Literally spend 2 minutes reading the rules and controls to a minigame
Ze (every time): So how do we play this minigame?

4:55:30 Ray had to do it to 'em.

Seriously, Ray is a goddamn beast. His lead just keeps getting crazier and crazier and I, for one, am LOVING IT

“Mario Party 4” or “How I Learned To Read the Rules, Check The Map And Crush My Competition”

Great stream as always, Ray!

These jokers are always complaining about Ray's luck.  However, here's how Chilled's last few turns of the first game went:

1. Chilled visits an item shop and buys one of only two magic lamps to appear the whole game.
2. He finds a hidden block and gets a star, the only one to occur that game.
3. Ray decides not to use his Boo Orb on Chilled, chooses Random, and steals a star from Ze.
4. He uses his lamp and gets a third star, the next star appears 7 spaces away, and Chilled manages to nail a 40% odds of getting a 7 or higher and roll a 7, getting his fourth star.
5. Chilled's 7 means he lands on a Bowser space, and amazingly Koopa Kid takes 30 coins from everyone, closing the coin gap between Ray and Chilled to 9.  Now if Chilled wins the last mini-game, he wins.
6. Chilled is put on his own team, with Max willing to sabotage his own team to hurt Ray, and the mini-game is one where Ray has shown that the solo player can win even with the three players actually trying.

The fact that Chilled was in a position to challenge Ray in that first game is actually insane when you put all that together.  Had he been able to figure out the controls, he would have won by one coin, against very improbable odds.

4:35:30
Ray be like "mom and dad are fighting again"

Ray’s disbelief at the constant ineptitude of his competitors is hilarious.
