Smokey doesn’t bad mouth or tell on his friends. Super old school.

He felt the death energy, but could not identify where it would be coming from. It showed up as paranoia. Im assuming he felt safe with his kinfolk. It is so easy to dismiss people as crazy but I  learned through experience when something feels off or weird it usually is. I love his music.

I was in basic training when Marvin Gaye was killed ... and we all thought it was an April fool's joke until ...

Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson have lived through so many tragedies. We are lucky to have them🙌🏾 I remember hearing it on the radio too, and initially thought it was a joke too.

I honestly feel like a lot of that  s*** have to do with jealousy, no man should have that kind of malice and they hard for their own son. Special place in hell for people like this dude

This story is so sad.
My father told me he was in California during this time (my father moved from Nigeria to the US and hadn’t lived in the US for long during this time). He was riding his bike not even realizing he wasn’t that far from Marvin Gaye home when it happened. As he was bike riding, he heard the constant sound of police cars and he was wondering what was happening and heard the news not long after that. Wow!

Don't sound like Marvin was paranoid when he thought somebody was trying to kill him shit his dad did 🤦🏾‍♂️

Marvin gaye is the greatest male r&b singer of all time. Truly ahead of his time.

One of the things I really admire about Mr. Robinson is that he never seems to say anything negative about anybody.
To me that is being a classy individual.
I'm sure in his many years in  show business he has met people who have rubbed him  the wrong way.

Just because someone is paranoid & on drugs doesn’t mean someone not trying to kill them.

Marvin has one of the purest voices I’ve ever heard.
