watching this while eating ice cream was a total pleasure

Toronto to Ottawa in 20:46 mins is pretty good.

That was a very enjoyable video to watch. Congratulations on your accomplishment.

Very impressive! It's great to see people sharing relatable experiences like this (but long days!).  I've cycled a few sections of your route, and I've always been curious about the best route from Toronto to Ottawa.  In previous years, the trail across Prince Edward County was quite good, but, like a lot of rural Ontario, trail maintenance often seems to favour ATVs over bicycles. I wish Ontario would put some real effort into the "Great Lakes Waterfront Trail".  Perhaps if cycling routes were supported at the provincial level instead of just at the municipal level i.e. perhaps take inspiration from  Quebec's "Route Verte".  Congratulations!

Watching this from Australia, so inspiring to watch. I just started cycling and I know how hard it is to even cycle 50km a day you’re doing 100kms 5 days in a row!! Congrats mate for completing the journey!

The cycling network in Ottawa is very impressive. Incredibly expansive and generally well maintained.

I've been living in Ottawa for over 40 years and I've never seen it not under construction/repair/maintenance.

You just showed my (former) office in Ottawa - they don't speak english in there.

As someone who lives in the general area this is very inspiring actually since I've considered exploring at least a little bit outside my city

That's some hefty leg workout my friend.

happy  to see that somebody is living the life 🎉🚴‍♂️✌️

This was one of the best videos I've seen in the past few months, I can't believe how this video hasn't blown up. It is amazing, can't wait to see what you post next!

I'm tired just watching you go through this 🥵

As someone who lives in the Kingston area, I can confirm, the roads here are awful for massive rocks / potholes, lol.

Great video! Super relatable .

“Then I got closer to Kingston and it became a nightmare”

I grew up there. That place really is a nightmare

Dude!!!
I just found this channel.
You are doing what I want to do forever.
Good work and with a not high bike.
You are a champ!!!

Poor planning.  Poor diet.  Filmed in portrait.  All added up to a Great video!   Congratulations on finishing an epic journey!  One thing that surprised me was the amount of long trails you could take in that area.

P.S. I used to bike a lot when I was young, travelling long distances from Toronto where I lived and out into the countryside to visit a friend. Fifty years later I’m back…lol…

Impressive 👏👏👏.  If you ever need shirts or gear sponsorship for your next ride, we’ve got you covered!. 👍

The editing was amazing, absolutely loved the video! I hope to be able to do some bike touring next year! Maybe not this route, but thanks for sharing the path you took :)
