Great tunes, mixed well in the right order, in the right place. Sounds easy? God damn Derrick Carter is great DJ.

This is why DC is a legend.  No fancy knob twlrlling or effects.  Just great mixing and tracks

I remember seeing him with DJ Sneak in MPLS back in the day for $5. Ahhhhh, the good old days, no iphones, texting, 100% vinyl, miss those days.

My favorite dj for all time. I ve heard him in Paris At the Rex club maybe 15 years ago  ; and i am still amazed by the performance he did that night.

It's time to teach this new generation how to dance!

This has to be one of the best sets I have heard in the last 5 years!!!! Period! Derrick Blow this shit up! Nice one.... I am obsessed with this set now. This needs to be in every House heads Ipod etc...!

Maybe they just don't know who Derrick Carter is.

ALWAYS funky and grooving. One of my favorite DJs to dance to, but also One of the coolest djs to chill with...PERIOD!

I caught his live interview at the Apple store on Michigan Ave. a few days ago. He was there with Chez Damier. The chemistry between the two was awesome. Good insight from both of these guys with regards to their feelings on the  current state of house music. Two legends, live 10 ft in front of me!

I've been trying for months to get Derrick Carter to come and play in my lounge room. I was thinking of setting up a couch where the camera is, inviting my neighbours over, raiding dads wine cellar and potentially having one of the better evenings of my life. He hasn't said 'yes' yet, but I haven't given up either!

Why does no one ever look like they're having a good time at boiler room?

It blows my mind that these people get to see some of the finest talent in the world, and they just stand around. It's dance music, you are suppose to dance. Derrick, come back to St. Louis, MO and we will show you the proper dancefloor you so truely deserve.

One of the all time greatest DJs. So many great memories. I'm kind of sad he's not doing three turntables any more - glorious chaos!

This is the definition of groove

House music all night long.

classic chicago groove this is house

Long live Boompty!! Derrick is still the worlds greatest house DJ imo. His style of mixing is so much better in person and with a large crowd that is really dancing. It makes you dance even if you cant dance...except maybe these folks lol.

A good Dj never touches one momentarily. They touch us with permanence of ear pleasures.

That transition at 25:10 is just insane. Such a perfect blend that you won't even notice how he mixed from one song to the other. He's actually mixing, not just fading out and playing the next tune. What a legend, DC never disappoints!

This is proper HOUSE MUSIC! , respect to one of the masters
