There's too many comments so I know mine won't get red but this is the best video ever

It is so amazing how quickly the initially scared little wild hog started playing with your kids almost immediately.

Pigs are actually very smart animals. It's no surprise to me that she warmed up to you guys so quickly once she realized there was no danger.

Imagine some giant eldritch being just saves you from a hawk attack, abducts you, and then proceeds to give you a pampered life of luxury with all your heart's desires.  Pretty sure that's what this little piggy was feeling XD

Wild to tame - 6 months.
Back to wild - 2 weeks.

That tiny nod of approval @2:44 killed me 🤣

I had a feral piglet at one time. My father had shot the sow not knowing the had little ones around. When we came back to cart her out of the brush I heard a noise on the bank above me. When i looked there were three piglets. I gave chase and caught one of them. I put him in the bed of the truck back at camp and began feeding him bread soaked in a bit of milk which he took to immediately. There he stayed for the next few days until I came home from the hunt. I named him Wilberto and he was an indoor pig for the first 3 months of his life. He tamed down almost immediately, house broke within two weeks and would even sleep on the bed.

@5:44 kid playing eeny, meeny, miny, mo with the pigs life 😅

Those kids are gonna grow up loving animals and knowing the value of gentleness. Well done.

I bought up a wild pig we called Lusi. She was small like your one when we got her. She was my baby for 9 years. It was the saddest day when she went. I buried her in a spot close to where I walk to the sheds each day, to remind me of my best buddy. Great pets.

The happiest hog in not even half an hour 😂 after she was fed she was playing with the children having the time of her life! This is one of the most uplifting video's ive seen on youtube in so long! ❤

What a cool dad you are. Makes me happy to see.

I find it amazing the piglet immediately felt at home and already instantly connected with the kids running around and playing with them.

1:42 the dude has the same genes as Elijah Wood lol

The wheels were clearly turning in the little lady's head, like, "OK, these not-pigs haven't hurt me yet...*wiggle wiggle*...oh wait, now they're feeding me? Oh, these smaller not-pigs want to play! Is this home now?"

Edit: I love how chatty she is, such a happy noise🥰

Fun Fact, all hogs in the US are domesticated pigs. The ones running wild are just ones that got loose in the past. They are like horses, there are no wild breeds in the US. In fact, if you let currently domesticated pigs go into the wild, within 6 months they revert to the feral "wild boar" state. Their hair grows longer and thicker, their tusk grow more they become aggressive.

That hawk almost got her in the beginning!

"C'mon, you can climb."
The man raises pigs well, and raises kids well.
Kudos, sir ///

SOOO CUTE!! My daughter found a baby robin that fell out of the nest...coveted with maggots.   She took it, cleaned it, and fed it.  Once it could fly, we took it outside.   It would come to me every morning and sit on me, sit on our dogs...then thankfully hooked up with other robins to fly south for the winter ( we're in Michigan).  She came back every year...just less and less tame
