16:04 thats something I couldn't get over with this movie. She was threatened by an active serial killer and she was allowed to leave the house ALONE!? Any reasonable parent would have her on 24hr lockdown, I wouldn't even let her go to school.

“What is that barrel” is something that you probably wish you never uttered 😭

I normally love horror movies, PARTICULARLY found footage horror, but this is one movie I truly wish I could un-watch. Disturbing in every way.

Audition is the only movie I've been willing to see that is more disturbing (or at least equally disturbing) than Megan is Missing.

I honestly wish I could unsee this movie. It occupies a space in my brain I wish it didn't.

The fact that he burys Amy alive with her best friends corpse is bine chilling

fun fact the guy who plays the guy in the reenactment is the guy who plays josh. if you listen closely when he gives his interview you can tell its the same voice

as a 14 year old who absolutely loves horror movies, ive grown up with them and i dont get scared at all, its something regular for me to watch. but watching this one didnt exactly scare me in the way like a jumpscare, it scared me in the way that this could happen to anyone my age, and the girrls in this film were portrayed as my age. its insanely  disturbing. also the fact that megan had been 14 for a bit, but amy was barely even a month over 14.

I was flirting with this guy on Snapchat and We had plans to like meet up like I never saw his face before and my sister made me watch. Megan is missing the day before like I went there with him. you best believe I ghosted that man so fast, i was so scared. Don’t meet people you’ve never met before from social media

As a parent this is truly a frightening movie.

I think this movie is so disturbing because it can very much happen to anyone and happens a lot on this messed up world we live in!

This movie is beyond fuxk andbi can't believe I'm reliving it again😂

Tik tok convinced me this was gonna be the most disturbing movie I’ve ever seen, and it was very much not that. The acting and news reports took me right out of it

I remember watching this movie when it first came out it Literally effing traumatized me 😱😨😰😭😭😭

I watched it and I cried for a whole hour I got to scared when it showed the picture of Megan.......

I've watched heaps of deeply unhinged and disturbing films in my time and none have permanently stained my mind like this one has

This movie disturbed me deeply because Amy never got to experience a positive sexual experience and neither did Megan. They were kids and never got to grow up. Not to mention Amy’s parents did EVERYTHING right for their daughter and STILL it wasn’t enough to keep her safe.

Ain’t no way that said Megan is no longer missing 😭

He didn't even end the call! That's how he knows what she wore! I was scratching at the television 😱😭😭🥺

My mom is actually related to the one of the girls this movie is mainly based off of.
