Wikipedia now has a citation for the origin of "Johnstone's robin," referencing The Eponym Dictionary of Birds published in 2020. It's named after Mrs. Marion A. Johnstone, who bred birds. The cite appears on page 289.

Matt is really good at lying.
Gary is really good at seeming untrustworthy
Chris just knows too much random stuff so he can pick whatever.

These three are perfect for this game.
Amazingly enjoyable, again.

Matt’s GCSE in Latin is my favourite recurring character in the technical difficulties extended universe

Chris "That is entirely plausible" Joel

Gotta say, I love the theatrical “crossing off the liar” that Tom does.

If Tom isn’t asked about Finland he’s suddenly a genius again 😂

1:17 i just wanna appreciate gary's face here when he says "yes". that is the face of a man who realized he just made an incredible mistake and needs to lie super hard to cover his ass. beautiful stuff.

i still need to adjust to the fact tom is actively participating

Still cannot get over Garry saying “what, in a game where we’re trying to conceal who’s lying?” About him supposedly making it look like he’s lying in a game where to goal is to convince Tom you’re telling the truth

Tom: Johnstone's Robin is named after Robin?
Gary: Yes.
Tom: so anyway, i started crossing off

You didn’t introduce your guests so I’m not sure if that’s my favorite Gary Brannan or another one!

Occidentalis referring to "eastern" had me screaming at my monitor. Thank you, Tom, for picking up on that by the end.

Please do more of this show! Would love to see more than 3 episodes, it's been a fantastic watch.

The moment only Matt said it was a plant, I knew it was him. The way "Agarentia Occidentalis" is written, it could only be a taxonomic name. Chris was almost plausible, but slipped up in stating it was the name of the infection rather than the organism that caused it.
Guess the college course on greenhouse tech I dropped out of isn't entirely wasted.
