thank you so much! :_NAYHug::_NAYHug::_NAYHug::_NAYHug:

Day 1 is an amazing preview but day 2 will blow you away I think you will have so much fun with it! Love your reaction xD

So the first group debuted together as the first gen on Hololive English so that’s why they opened the concert ! ❤

Here’s an explanation for Autofister’s group name:

During one of her generation’s first streams, Gigi was asked what RPG class she would be. Since she canonically fights with a pair of gauntlets and has a penchant for raunchy jokes, she decided to call herself “da fister.” Her genmates jokingly reprimanded her, and she changed her answer to “monk” to make things more appropriate.
A while later, she had her first collab with Cecilia. When they asked what their duo name should be, a chat member suggested “Autofister” (referencing the fact that Ceci is an automaton). As you might expect, Ceci expressed exaggerated hatred for the name while Gigi actively encouraged fans to use it.
A couple years pass, and Hololive announced that fans could vote on the official group names for this event. By this point, even Ceci had started occasionally using the name Autofister (for projects like The Autofister Network). So it goes without saying that it swept the poll.

Also, fun fact: the lyrics of CCGG Madness were basically written to be "genuinely uplifting, but in a vaguely cultish way."

day 2 has an awesome performance by calli. you mentioned liking metal and rock. i think youd enjoy her performance!

This was my first time watching an idol concert and a Hololive concert... AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! 😭💜

What was your favourite performance/moment from Day 1 Free preview?
Comment down below im so curious!!!! :_NAYHug::_NAYHug::_NAYHug:

Mine ended up being 💚💚🧡🧡💚💚🧡🧡 Madness performance! :_NAYFire::_NAYFire::_NAYFire:

Cecilia Immergreen can play violin. In the full version of Day 2, she takes out a violin for a solo mid-performance. Which she has done once per live concert so far.

Cicilia Immergreen is from Germany but she grew up multilingual because her mother I from France. (as far as i know)

In the Song she speaks French but Gigi says German as a joke 😜

You should actually watch the Music video of CCGG Madness it is peak comedy😂

autofister was so good... and they didn't even know each other before this...

In casual conversation its "Oh Kiara? yeah i really like her music. Shes got some bangers"
Then when you see her in concert its "OMG YES!!! its fuckin KIARA!!!! SHITS ABOUT TO POP OFF!!!!"

So for this concert, they have a mocap studio built behind the stage. They are there live dancing and, for the most part, live singing. This is the top of the top of the vtuber industry - they are idols in the true sense. The backup dancers are prerecorded though.

I assume for the camera-work you are talking about how they film the concert to us? From what I understand (and peeps feel free to chime in if you have a better understanding), there's 2 sets of cameras - the cameras out in the crowd that are the cameras you'd find at a concert/music event or a sporting event and then there's the internal cameras that come with the inherent 3D environment that Cover runs. When we see crowd shots, those are the cameras you'd find at concerts. When it's only the talent themselves (and it's MUCH closer in), that's actually coming from a virtual camera as part of the computer program. That's how we can have overhead shots without the need of a gimbal or a drone. Or real close-up tracking shots - its the computer locking on to the face or chest or another body part and following it. It's why on the crowd shots the talents look a BIT flatter while on the computer shots they look fully 3D. Notice whenever it's one of those close-up or above-head shots you never see the crowd? It's cause it doesn't exist - the camera's fully virtual.

I’ve been following Hololive since mid-2019—if I recall correctly, a few months after the JP branch's 4th Generation debuted—so I was able to witness the launch of the EN branch. Because of that, whenever there’s a concert, I can’t help but feel a sense of pride swelling in my chest as I see how much they’ve grown... both in terms of the number of members and their skills... hope You keep following the girls and be in the comunity ❤️

the first 3 girls on the start, they were 5 members and 2 left ;( so now they are 3 , the first generation of hololive engflish

As others mentioned, the first trio are the current active members of Myth, the first generation of Hololive's English branch. They did a medley of three original goup songs they have done over the last few years. In order they are,

ReUnion - Intended as sort of theme for their group, emphasizing their connections despite how far from each other they live. (Kiara lives in Austria, Ina is Canadian, Mori is American but lives in Japan, and Gura and Amelia live in the US)

The Show Goes On! - A song created for Myth's 4th anniversary concert. The concert went with a very Broadway/showtunes aesthetic so the song reflects that.

Fortune Spinner - Created for Myth's 5th anniversary concert, which was the first one since two members, Gura and Amelia, left the company. The concert was themed like a casino heist, hence all the gambling themes.

So fun fact, the first song is a Myth medley, a masterpiece up of several of English holo gen 1 songs (called myth, originally composed of the 3 on stage + 2 more who have graduated already and no longer perform as part of hololive) I cant pick out the specific songs myself but it covers the wide net of vibes they've made over the... 6 years they've been streaming, singing and bringing us laughs

These are hololive original songs, made for the individual singers. So it would be kinda silly for all the songs to be in Japanese for the English language branch. They do have a lot of Japanese lyrics in their songs (and some even have Korean lyrics. I think you already reacted to Hakos Baelz's Snake Eyes with a lot of Korean lyrics) but the majority is still English... for the English branch.

9:00 I share the same homeland as Mori. The mythical realm known as "Texas". 🤠

24:14 nono, you were right she answered in french. but since gg doesnt speak it she assumed it was german (for the bit) since cc is german.all in all , just a silly joke.

The tech is the same as those "hologram" performances you might of heard about. Basically there's a glass panel on stage that's basically invisible to the audience, and they project the 3d models onto it. The members are in the backstage or somewhere nearby with full body motion tracking etc. to track their movement and render their model. All the singing and dancing is done live.

I love how much you talk about the details.  And how curious you are
