What did you think of this movie?

I know a lot of people thought it was stupid, but I love that this is how Fury lost his eye. It shows how smart he is, that he takes what's silly and kind of embarrassing and turns it into a powerful part of his mythos. As Stark said, Fury's THE spy, and part of that means controlling information and using it to your advantage. He never even has to lie about it--he knows that the imagination of others will spread the rumor and make it bigger all on their own if he plays it just right.

When the trailer for this movie came out, I jokingly said to myself "that cat is probably the reason Fury looses his eye". When it actually happened I was floored

Fury said the last time he trusted someone was when he lost his eye, he trusted Goose. Also if you look at his scar it does look like a cat scratch.

The reason why he didn't call Carol during Avengers or Age of Ultron was because he trusted the Avengers to get the job done. He used Carol as a last resort. When he found out about Thanos dusting he immediately paged her because it was a last resort. He was about to be dusted and knew that if The Avengers couldn't stop it, not too many people could except for maybe Carol.

i love how much he's so invested on knowing how fury lost his eye

The cats (flerkins) name was a nod to Top Gun. Anthony Edwards played Tom Cruises wingman and his callsign was Goose.

Here’s a fun fact about this movie: The Skrulls are bad guys in the comics but they changed it in the MCU and made them good guys

I can’t get over Fury with two eyes!!
Actually… he looks just like Sam Jackson 😂

Fury said in The Winter Soldier, “The last time I trusted someone I lost an eye.” It’s kinda sad that the last person he trusted was a cat (sort of).

Brie Larson and Sam Jackson are friends in real life, so the on-screen chemistry is real.

The funny thing about how Fury lost his eye is that aliens would be super impressed ("You lost your eye to a flerkin and didn't die?"), But humans wouldn't understand.

Again, Marvel makes it really obvious when children are future superheroes. I hope you paid attention to little Monica "lieutenant trouble" Rambeau. She's going to be a very powerful superhero when she grows up.

The inside of a flerkin is full of universes, tentacles, and teeth. They need the universes to digest food. Think of them as a biological TARDIS without the time travel.

Find someone who will be as obsessed with you as Seb obsessed with Evans...

I liked this and your reaction a lot. I love when superheroes get charged up and their eyes glow.😅😅 Carol & Thor are champs.

I'm glad you enjoyed this movie. Too many people consider this one of the worst Marvel movies ever, if not the worst, even though it's really not that bad. Is it the best? No, certainly not. Are there flaws? Sure there are. Is it still enjoyable? Definitely.

18:08 yeah, we can be friends hahah that was hilarious

The power source gave her her powers, but they did also genetically alter her to be half Kree which is why her blood is blue. They don't really definitively cover that in the movie

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D mention made my marvel heart soo happy! It's one of my favourite shows of All Time! I know it's too long to react to Seb, but I really recommend you watching it on your free time! Another amazing reaction Seb! <3

When Carol asks for an obscure detail about Fury, he says that he cant eat toast cut diagonally, and in Age of Ultron, when the avengers are in Clints house, Fury is in there holding diagonally cut toast in his hand. This could potentially mean that Fury has been a skrull for past films such as Avengers or Civil War.

I really like the chemistry between Fury and Danvers. And I like to think that it extends to real life.
Also, that scene where Carol is being helped with her "new" uniform, and she asks "How do I look?", I always want to yell out "Like a hot chick in a skin tight suit".
