I imagine pannen in a few years laughing about this video and saying "why didn't we just think about the reverse phantom slide kick bounce cancel " or something like that

I can't stress enough just how good your visual explanations are. There isn't a detail in these commentated videos that I didn't understand so far, and I usually barely understand anything from technical videos.

"You may be familiar with the A-Button Challenge." Pannen my Mannen that's like a pastor going up to the pulpit and saying "You may be familiar with Jesus"

In a few years "The Pyramid A Presses are a Tragedy [OUTDATED]"

Obi-Wan: It's over, Anakin. I have the high ground.
Anakin without legs to jump but with 99 coins and sees where misalignment on Obi-Wan hitbox:

The Nintendo devs laughed maniacally when they made the pyramid hitbox wall 6 map units too high, knowing that it would thwart any and all attempts at people completing the pyramid with 0 A presses

the pyramid a presses situation is crazy

It’s getting to the point I feel like I’m in a lecture. “As you’ll remember from SM64 Walls 103…”

The visualizations taking place in the actual environment and being overlaid instead of just transitioning to a generic explanation with different properties like so many other explainers do helps sooooo much it's unbelievable. I can't imagine the amount of work it must be to either line up and overlay the videos or completely mod the game to show the actual things being talked about, but it really pays off and I really appreciate it

-Elevator is barely 6 units too high for a rollout

-Falling off the pile with Z is just barely too short for a ledge grab

-Amp just barely bumps off the wall

-Amp can't knock him off anyway

-Can't clone in the pyramid

-Can't squish cancel due to lack of invisible walls

-Can't perform spawning displacement even though there's a perfect platform for it

Nintendo truly outdid themselves here

3:33 "trust me, we've checked" hits harder with the invisible wall video

you know, the elevator almost looks like a baby crib.

this must be the "gay baby jail" i have heard legends of.

MFW I'm the only well-programmed approximation of a round object that moves in the whole video game

The natural thought process when designing the elevator cage was, "We don't want players falling off by accident as it moves down." Unknowingly, they prevented some maniac from getting out of it without pressing A.

the ingame visualizations are super impressive! i like the perspective/orthographic camera switches.

I wasn't aware of the latest amp tech and it's so sad, at least the amp not making it up there is not the literal only thing left

What if you shoot a missile into the sun to force a cosmic bit flip

i love you pan cake

Remember when you didn't expect Watch for Rolling Rocks to become 25 minutes long? And now this 30 minute video is considered a short video

18:59 I only just now noticed that Mario's "shocked" animation is actually his Metal Mario form.
