Ahoy! Let me know if you have any feedback regarding audio/visual quality (especially volume levels). Otherwise I hope you enjoy!

I will say the sound design in Dead Space has always been known as being incredible and it's something they mentioned working hard on in the remake.

Isaac is an engineer, this is why he is tasked with repairing stuff. The suit is part of it as well.

Fun fact: in the original game Isaac had almost no dialog, he was just kinda silent, but they reworked that part for the remake.

Part of the horror of this game comes from awkward controls, very similar to Resident Evil 4, even the slanted camera is similar.

A small tip:
You don't need to conserve ammo at this difficulty, just cut a leg and an arm and basic necromorphs die. No need to run around stomping them.

Its criminal to not treat yourself to playing deadspace. The first game is a masterpiece. Even the original version holds up to date. Hope you enjoy.

This is giving Mapocolops in the best way! Definitely gonna binge this 😊

You're the first person I've seen to use the "take out one leg and then circle the hapless one-legged necromorph as it frantically tries to turn to face you" to turn this game into a comedy romp.

Something to note: this game provides ammo based on what you have. If you end up never using a gun, sell or store it in your shop's inventory to limit the randomized loot to ONLY the ammo you use. Can really help late-game.

Great game choice! Between this and the ds3 playthrough, Liquid Blitz is basically all I watch on YouTube now

Awesome, I'm completely blind to this as well so this will be fun!

DS3, one of my favorite games period, and now dead space remake, probably my favorite game from last year and also a long time lover of the classic game. man, you are picking the sweetest of games at the moment, i love it! you are in for an absolutely amazing time, so jealous of the fact that you are going in completely blind.

what happened: a meteor hit your ship/ the guidance tether that helps you land was damaged so you were risking crashing into the ship / so you had to land manually which was a bumpy ride

I whish i could experience this game for the first time again. ❤

Isaac Clarke: Engineer expert in all forms of space mechanical and engineer work.
Nicole: Isaac's girlfriend and Chief medic onboard the ishimura
Kendra Daniels: computer specilist
Hammond: Team leader
i forget the name of the other two but they are trianed as both pilots and soldiers.
the interesting thing about Dead Space is that the majority of the weapons are actually tools...not designed for combat...but they can kill things easily. the plasma cutter for example is a lethal cutting tool...but not a weapon. the pulse rifle is one of the only actual weapons.

Good luck with Dead Space. Honestly as a remake, it's one of the best. Changes a big, but keeps most of the feeling intact. Looking forward to your next videos.

Woo! Glad to see you're doing Dead Space. It should be right up your alley!
Hope you'll get to explore every nook and cranny of the USG Ishimura!

The start of this playthrough could not have happened at a better time, I just completed my first blind playthrough of this game a few hours ago and was looking forward to finally being able to watch some others playthroughs.  Most seem to have played the older games, so they likely have a good idea of what is coming, so I look forward to seeing someone see it for the first time as I did and the reactions to everything that is going to come is going to be priceless I'm sure.  I look forward to the next episode already.

Oooh Dead Space was one of the first survival horror games I beat on ps3. The remake is great!

This is a Horror classic, excited to see people experience it for the first time!

I love how this game plays on the "shoot 'em in the head" trope and completely reverses it. Just such a cool idea.

One of my most favorite games of all time. One of the best sound designs as well. In addition the design of the weapons is such that you could go the entire game just upgrading the plasma cutter as you go and it would serve you well. However, there are many more weapons you will find and some of them are quite amazing. Cheers.
