Mr. Boaz loves his Mommy rubs! So cute!
I really loved "Autumn & Alibis". It was so atmospheric! I'm looking forward to reading the second book!

I live in Rocky Myns, and like to bake. Once a carrot cake flopped into a puddle of oil, and I had houseguests! 🍰

As a person trying to go back into daily reading, this was the most realistic tbr, and reading vlog I’ve seen. I Just finished my first book of the month. BTW, the bingo game!! Love it!!! You cant never go wrong with Scooby Doo!😅😊

I think besides Diane Mott Davidson's Goldie Schultz series, the Magical Bookshop one is my favorite!❤

I love your cozy vlog! So much I want to comment on: The Hercule Poirot calendar is so amazing. I need that! haha Also, I love all the Alexander McCall Smith books and love the 44 Scotland Street series. It's wonderful and cozy! I love the Magical Bookshop mystery series too. I loved books 1 and 2 and plan to read 3 soon! Also the way Boaz puts his paw on you is so sweet 😭 And I'm sorry about the baking fail. I have done that so many times haha Much love

My cookies come out hard as a rock lol

I loved Before You Were Anne! That and Ellie Black are some of my favorite mystery/thrillers. I think Emiko Jean is going to have to go on my auto buy author list :)

I have the 2026 Agatha Christie calendar and I ended up reading the book of each picture in the calendar and it’s the best🙌

I’ve had a few baking fails. One that I remember were pistachio cupcakes that just sunk in . Still don’t know why. I limit my baking adventures to easy recipes 😊.

Amy, I LOVE when you do these vlogs! My biggest baking disaster was; I made some brownies in a 9x13 glass baking pan. Don't ask me WHY, BUT, I wanted to see if they were cooked on the bottom so after taking them off the oven rack and leaving the oven door open, I turned the glass pan upside down and SPLAT! The entire pan of uncooked brownies fell onto the oven door!!! WHAT A MESS to clean up😑😑😑😆!! Couldn't believe I did that...I have been reading quite a few cozy mysteries and plan on more for Sept.& end of Oct. Autumn is my fave time of yr. to read them ( as well as sprinkled throughout the yr.) Nov. is reserved for Little Women ( read every 3/4 yrs.) and Jane Eyre, my fave classic. Dec. more cozy myst. and ALL Christmas bks. Thank you for such an ENJOYABLE video😁 Hugs and lots of dog treats ( NOT your cookies 😂😆😆😂😋) to my love Mr. Boaz!!🤗🤗

i read the botanists assistant in jan and i really enjoyed it!

Thank you! You read 2 books i haven’t heard anyone else talk about that i loved.
The Emiko Jean book was so good though i think i liked Ellie Black slightly more.
And i absolutely loved the characters and writing in The Botanist's Assistant.
Really hope both books have sequels.

Why do our cats and dogs not want us to read?😂

My baking fails usually involve me not being able to get cakes out cleanly.i remember a pineapple upside down cake mess.

My most memorable fail is I made a caramel nut tart from scratch then dropped it with half sliding under the fridge.😕 Most embarrassing is I bought an inedible pumpkin pie to Thanksgiving. I think I added too much baking soda. 🤢
