As a Hawaiian, I am ashamed of not pursuing Hula further as a kid. Hopefully this redemption will make my parents proud 😭

Ahh, quick side note for all my lady friends.... This is not just a dance move, it's a wonderful life skill that can help you achieve so much more than just your dance talent before those kiddo free years are behind you 🤣

Ms. Leolani, wow, thank you for your true compassion, caring for us strangers to share your talents with the World. I have always love and will continue to admire Tahitian, Hawaiian and Polynesian dances. It’s amazing how the legs move the hips like that. You’re never to old to learn, and I’m 53.

It looks easy but when you try it it's really hard. my heart pound like I do a 30min cardio exercise this is great when you're trying to get back in shape and dance at the same time❤

The lighting, the styling, the whole format of this vid is really, really good. Shit, its great! It’s perfectly succinct with easy instruction and I appreciate that it’s not over talked. Thanks from a former dancer and empty nester🐝

I’m from Samoa, but recently have moved away. I want to reconnect with my roots and I got sick of watching ote’a videos without actually doing it lol. The nostalgia is unreal. I remember watching my sister’s school ote’a and practicing with her after school. This feels like home. Love the tutorial! ❤

Clear focused instruction on one move with repeated practice and reminders of correct form. I enjoyed the audio as a separate feature of the
video, it improved the quality of the instructional delivery. Well done!
