before the game "browns will lose pittsburgh looked great against the bengals" after they win "both teams suck" !!?? the national media wants the browns lose every game smh
Not a Browns fan, but shoutout to them and Coach Monken. Lotta jokes and discussion about them all the time, especially after the Garrett trade, and making Watson the starter. Not saying they're going to the Super Bowl or anything, but no one thought they would be leading that division after the first month.
The refs repeatedly bailed out the Steelers and the Browns still held on. This team is winning no less than 9 games. Everyone who thinks this league has equitable application of the rules is high as a kite. Even with the excessive fouls called on Cleveland, we’re gonna make this division suffer.
The schedule they have, they can win some games. They don't travel much, 4 home games in a row later. I could see, 9-8. Not sure what that gets them, but it's going to build confidence in the young guys.
I dont think it really matters if the Browns are labeled as contenders or pretenders at this point. For fans, they are playing meaningful football early in the season as most thought this was as tank / lost season. Exciting times and hope it pans out in a fun season for fans. Cleveland deserves this.
Why is nobody talking about the call to throw a Hail Mary when all the Steelers needed to do was get 15 yds and call a time out to kick a field goal and tie the game?
The browns have been under dogs in every game so far this season. I’m sure they’ll continue being underdogs. Fix the penalties and keep the foot on accelerator if you have a lead going in the 2nd half.
I’m sure this has been covered, but the Browns now will have an additional 10 days rest, after having 11 days prior to this game. I wonder if the NFL assumed the team was so weak that affording them this immense advantage wouldn’t make any difference.
