I misspelled Gallic the second time i typed it in the video (gonna blame dyslexia) just to make things clear for watcher!

Anyone who shits on Fourth Wing is a friend without question

When I see someone hating on Fourth Wing I rub my hands in glee like a little goblin

I'm writing a book and whenever I'm feeling insecure about my writing, I just read some fourth wing and immediately feel better

"Oh my God we're at war with the Griffins! We need every soldier we can possibly get!"

Opening test kills half of its applicants. This book is beyond bad in every way possible

all the characters are allowed to kill each other if they think someone is "weak" or "a liability" and they expect to create unity in an army?

I don't mind that books like these exist. Not everything has to be incredible and deep... But it does make me mad that they get sooooo popular and are soooo successful...

I love how Violet is too disabled to lift a sword because Rebecca Yarros clearly has no idea how much (or little actually) swords weigh and as a result made a character too disabled to lift an adult male cat (12 pounds). Any basic one handed sword is only two to three pounds. The largest two-handed great swords can be up to eight pounds. I'm not kidding when I say a male tabby is heavier than a sword.

My least favorite thing about this series is how she wins every single argument and the college seems absolutely pointless. For a war college that has been at it for a while, they are so bad at war.

Bro I swear the aerial battle scene was SOOO much shorter than the sex scene proceeding it. It pissed me off so much

my main point is, why is Xaden, who's the son of a rebel, given such a high authority in the first place? the sensible thing for them to do would be to keep the rebels away from each other and not at positions of high power to prevent another rebellion from happening. but then, this book ain't sensible.

That dragon mate thing was super original... When Anne McCaffrey did it in the 60's with her Dragonriders of Pern series

How could Rebecca tell us that Violet was super perfect and literally good at everything, when in reality, she's good at nothing and not smart? this is why show don't tell is so important.

As someone who likes this series youre completely right about everything

Fourth wing is the solo leveling of books

Bet it’s a Mary Sue situation Violet is clearly a self insert character

Man I love people talking trash about this book.

It truly feels like a Divergent/Game of Thrones fanfic vibes with a nearly Mary Sue MC and an uninteresting love interest. And dragons as plot devices to bring them together

I saw my friends 70 year old mother reading this... im scared for her book taste

I’ve had 14 year olds who don’t have English as a first language, have been hit by bus, and been diagnosed with cancer  write better fan fiction on AO3 than this book.

Literally Violet and another character go to a modern gym and do weights and other stuff in modern day machinery. Don’t seek to understand this book.
