Alrighty folks, looks like I got quite a bit wrong/didn't fully explain. I'm keeping this comment as corrections for new viewers.

1. Project Libitina has a lot more development in DDLC+, unfortunately I didn't look over anything regarding that game and probably also missed a few good entries.
2. Another reason that Natsuki wouldn't be eating is because she lives in poverty. Not really a mistake, but also a reasonable explanation to also think about for that.
3. The pattern in Monika's NOT a QR code as I had originally said.  It's a lot more complicated than that but I think I said that for time's sake. Either way, it led to the same end result.
4. It's actually a 1/50 chance that the bright image of Monika will show up.

Something that’s a bit dark is that there’s a detail that hints to Sayori’s death, and that’s her calendar, the game takes place in late October, but all of the November dates are crossed out which honestly is pretty disturbing

I PLAYED THIS GAME IN 2020 FOR THE FIRST TIME AND REVISITED IT NOW AND I'M ADDICTED.

Now thanks to DDLC+ we know quite a lot about both the universe of "Project Libitina" and the purpose and creators of the simulation Monika and other characters are placed in. I recommend you digging a bit deeper, it's really interesting.
