Anyone here in 2026??

I think her old videos are so magical because her Russian accent is thicker, and that gives me asmr. I'll always be thankful for any video from Maria!

I always return to the older videos.  They are really wonderful.  I like them better because they are more "natural" with less whispering, etc.  They just seem like real situations.

Anyone watching in 2022? Lofi, old-school ASMR will forever have my heart 🥰

Edit: back in 2023 hi

Why am I always diabetic in these videos😂

It’s amazing (and admirable) the lengths some ASMRtists will go to in newer videos when simple ones like this can give you ultimate tingles. I think sometimes we forget that we all discovered ASMR through organic experiences, such as someone talking or brushing our hair, the scratch of a pencil, the click of a keyboard… when these things are “manufactured” they lose part of their magic and effectiveness, in my opinion. Some of the most intense tingles I’ve ever gotten have been from ordinary, every day sounds and actions. I hope we get back to this style of ASMR as a community

The old school stuff with the less production quality actually sounds better

I still love these older, less polished videos. They feel so comforting and natural. And I live for the way she says "diabetes" here, because it sounds so oddly southern 😆

I love these older videos where you are speaking in a more normal voice.  Whispering bothers me.  I love the background noise.  Please never delete your older videos!

😊 I watched this 12 years ago and again today in 2023. So happy that it is available for such a long time 😊

2011... watching this now in 2020 reminds me of where the ASMR community was and how far it's come in the last decade (has it really been that long??). Just wanted to say congratulations on your own success with your channel and thank you for everything you've done!

I love these vintage Maria videos.

The old videos have aged like fine wine

Old school ASMR is really the only real ASMR. People like Maria and the other originals still have ASMR, but YouTube is filled with awful fake ASMR videos that have a complete opposite effect of ASMR, on me.  They have primarily taken over this amazing genre.

When she says "diabetes" at 00:57  it's like heaven lol.  The way she says it is so pleasant ("Daaah-beetes").

April 2019 and I'm still watching this video

I love the way she always used to say “ if you don’t mind”,

2023, and still counting.

Still watching in 2019!!

Forever coming back to the older videos❤
