Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen is one of my favorite games. I’ve been waiting for DD2:DA to come along before I swooped in, can’t wait.

I was always hopeful that this game like the first game would come full circle once again when the fixes and the eventual expansion returns. Who would’ve thought all this time that the man who lead the first game’s expansion is leading this game’s expansion. And we getting transmog, hard mode, infinite warp crystals, repeatable dungeons for loot in the endgame. It’s everything I wanted this game to be and more. Those new horrors that the latest trailer shown off looked frighteningly awesome and I guarantee it’s not all that this games will have for new monsters in the expansion.

1:00 my biggest happy moment about this year's fixes, it's how they finally fixed dynamic battle damage on bosses. It was broken since *September 2024* where even mods couldn't find a way to fix it.

5:02 We're just going to ignore this? 😂😂

I have whopping 3,500 hours on DD2. There are few as exited as I am that Capcom have decided to show this Gem of a game some love.

DD2 is the king of potential. What we got was okay, glad dlc did happen. Atleast unmoored world was cool

@larsbjrnson3101 11 hours ago

DD2 is the new version of Gransys in DD1 and a much better grind for the Dark Arisen. I always "knew" it would come eventually.

@Pathless99 11 hours ago

all I care about is the doggo

FYI, "foray" is said like four-A (like hooray). Or if you're familiar with the Ukrainian devs 4A, same thing.

So Dragons Dogma 2 is just a Rework and not actually a continuation ? Because we killed the Dark Arisen in the first game there is no other one.

I played it for 20 hours and quit. Too easy. I like dd1 because it had a nice difficulty.

Man I wanted to like DD2, but the enemy diversity was so low, after my fourth Dragon kill, I stopped playing. Didn't see it offering any new combat. Pawns yapping was a challenge to. And the landscape was super varied and amazing to explore. I still wanna try this cause I would love to love this game.
