As a new player, that price is wild for one card. But like you said, The Great Henge is crazy good in any green deck with adding counters and card draw. Still need to try this commander.

I did buy this precon and heavily upgraded it, id recommend adding Syr Konrad the Grim, along with Old Rustien and all the mono black Ob Nixilis's

Mesmeric Orb was my first add out the box next to Valgavoth, Terror Eater. Had Kozilek in there but it didn’t do what I wanted everytime.

Wynter was one of the ones I didn’t pick up and now I’m wondering if I missed out. Great guide and keep up the good work. I love the way you have set up the budget plus a few “expensive” options. That great henge is worth it but wow.

Old stinkfingers is great for getting your creatures in the graveyard tho if you are halfway through your deck and haven't found what you need to win its a game winner. Sucks when you mill your buried alive and other spells to tutor something into the graveyard. Stinkfingers give you thar option to pay bg 8 or something and forsure get those heavy hitters in and also a big body. Plus he only mills your creatures so you are gonna have a better chance on draw to get a instant/sorcery/artifact ect. Sorry to disagree i just love stinky fingers

For a budget upgrade I would add Dakmor Salvage, and also while at it the Gitrog Monster 😊

Chains of Mephistopheles could also put in some work in this deck tbh. Discarding the big threats and also staxing opponents down.
Another non budget upgrade is adding all of the fetch lands.
