A case of national significance. A death warrant. In July 1983, Hero of the Soviet Union, Vice Admiral Georgy Kholostyakov, and his wife were brutally murdered in an elite building in central Moscow. The crime occurred near the Kremlin, in an area considered the safest in the country. General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee Yuri Andropov immediately took personal control of the investigation. Kholostyakov was one of the creators of the USSR's nuclear fleet and had access to classified information. Could this have been the motive for the murder? Or did the attackers have other motives?
