This was my dream bike when I was younger, never owned one but did get to test ride one couple of years back, but realised that it's nothing I could ride all the time,  too many issues with parts of my body for that position,  including double carpal tunnel operations on both wrists,  but the bike still turns my head every time,  enjoyed the ride along mate Cheers

I have the 2022 50th anniversary edition. I absolutely adore it. I have lots of beautiful winding roads where I live. The snatchy throttle was scaring me at times mid-corner, it was just too difficult to engage the throttle smoothly coming out of the corners. I sent my ecu to Ivan’s tuning in the US, it was the best decision I made for the bike. I kept everything else stock and Ivan made the bike perfect. It’s such a beautiful machine and the throttle response is excellent now.

Just remember the original had wooden brakes, ordinary suspension and that jump forward when you put it gear first thing in the morning. The new models regardless of options is a complete dream to yester year.

I have a blue '22. Incredible machine. The green is my favorite color- hard to find in the U.S.

I own a 2018 Jaffa. Just got 20 k on the clock as I write. Nice reliable bike, updated the brake pads to Brembo pads front and rear. Helped the braking though the rear is still wooden feel. Throttle snatching response rectified with a Woolrish remap of the ECU. This resulted in more power everywhere and nice smooth acceleration. The bike is unmodified otherwise.

I had the same bike same color 2021 done 30.000 km fantastic bike. Sold it 6 weeks ago and bought the 2026 z 900 rs se red and black. Not regretting the change at all as the 26 model has so much more to offer.

The 2026 is lovely and the throttle is super smooth,  but it doesn't have the same visceral feel or burble on the overrun.  It's gained a lot but lost a bit of soul i can't do without.  My yellow ball will be staying put

53k on my 2021 Z900rs and I'm  70 years old.  No problem s . Just normal services and tires. In NZ.

I wish more bikes had dual clocks, just looks so much better balanced that way. Even the gb350 would benefit from a tachometer I reckon, I know you can add one but it doesn’t look the same.
The 900rs is out of my league money wise but the 650rs looks identical for less. Another one on the list.

I have the 2026 Z900RS SE and although I haven’t driven the previous models and don’t know how snatchy the throttle was on those models the 2026 is still the most snatchy throttle on a bike I have ever ridden so its definitely not fixed completely. With that said I love the bike so far, but I think I will probably get it tuned next year after the warranty runs out.

Your bike is still one of the best and most good looking bike there is right now. Keep it and enjoy it! A new bike is always fun, but two of the same? I dont know? Your choice!

It’s funny the more I look at the green and yellow I really like it, really suits the bike, looks very period. That said if I get a Z I’ll probably go for the candy tone red. I had a test ride on a Z900RS a few days ago, it’s for sale at BMW Motorad in Wollongong, it has what looks like a satin green and black finish. On the side panels it has the numbers 900 in grey I think with a stain black.  Not sure if it was a custom paint job as I haven saw any like it online.

Anyways if I get a Z I am going to get chrome mirrors in place of the black. Might be tempted to get a chrome front mud guard, or get another from Kawasaki and have it chromed. I think there is a lot of black on these bikes and for me I like a bit more chrome.
