Restoring a set of vintage Community N Series FB speakers! 🔊
These old Community speakers had definitely seen better days! In this video I take on the restoration of these vintage Community N Series FB cabinets, transforming them from dirty, damaged and worn-out speakers back into a clean, presentable set.
These were found in a barn.. with maybe a year or 2 more left in them before rot would take over and corrosion would have taken the drivers down. Im glad i got to showcase these cabinets for you all!
This was a quick reesoration. Not a full absolute teardown and rebuild. I just wanted to smarten them up and make them nice again! Not the whole shabang haha.
Points of note-
I know 2 of the 4 drivers are not original - three is not much i can do about this as stock for community is non-existstant.
I kept as much origonal as i could- this included the old speakon plates with the stickers on.
It’s always satisfying seeing old professional PA equipment given a second chance, especially vintage Community cabinets like these.
