Hello!

John and Andrew are here to talk about Lewis Miley.

Newcastle United's 20-year-old star - and a 'generational talent!'

How does Lewis make it to the very top? Can he do it if he's shifted between midfield and right-back?

Gibbo is a legend - i’m always interested in hearing his opinion on different NUFC subjects. Andrew - always appreciate your perspective as well. I can tend to have initial reactions that are more emotional. You help remind me of other factors I may not be considering.

Great podcast Andrew and John, it will be interesting to see where Lewis Miley will cement his place in the starting 11. A lot of people think he could be a John Stones type centre back with his attributes, he’s definitely been a brilliant right back when he’s played there 🙌🏻

Lewis Miley may become an important player for NUFC but I don't see the top class player suggested by Gibbo and Andrew yet. He is not in the same class as Steur and given the 4-2-3-1 set up, he is not in my first XI. Nevermind a generational talent. He definitely has quality on the ball and reads the game brilliantly. But he doesn't create much at all and is a bit sluggish for CM. 3/4th best CM, 3rd best RB. Eddie suggested he would make a top class CB and played him there in training. Perhaps we try him there?

I like Miley and have high hopes that he can kick on to be the talent we think he can be. However we need to see him do a lot , lot more before we can call him a generational talent? I haven’t seem him affect games enough to call him that right now

Steur could turn out to be a generational talent. Maybe we can get Anderson back now that city will have to be relegated? If city aren’t relegated then we should just break the rules and get into CL every season

Calling him a generational talent is beyond ridiculous. I like him, he’s a good player but Generational talent? Ffs man give your head a wobble. Generational talents come around once or twice a generation. Messi and Ronaldo are generational talents
