I'm nan from montana usa,some of those superlong necklaces can be used for belts ,sixties gogo days had chain belts and I wore some with a pantsuit,or skirts before

I'm watching from Melbourne, Australia. Volunteer in an Op Shop (what you call a charity shop) and I do like the idea of the jars of jewelery as I haven't seen that done in our shop or the other Op shops I visit. Having said that it is very rare these days that any jewellery of real value gets donated. Love watching your videos.

For the gold chains that are tangled, shake a little corn starch over them, work it in, then take a needle and you should be able to separate them. Then just clean off the corn starch.

Earrings from India are often 800 silver plated with high k gold, and the screw back is common, even today. I’ve never been able to wear them as the threads cause my ear holes to react.

Hey Pauline...71 looks like East Indian gold with ruby and diamonds or white sapphires...all hand cut...and 72 might be unmarked precious metal ?platinum ?white gold...i'd getvthem checked for sure...my favorite is 71 but my true fav. are the 2 gorgeous cats....your feline friends.
