The Satisfying Downfall of KSI — And It Only Gets Worse...

KSI spent years walking away from controversy without a scratch. Then it all caught up at once, and the way he handled it made everything worse. This breakdown walks through the chain of events that turned a huge chunk of KSI's own audience against him: the sore-loser response to his boxing loss against Tommy Fury, the crypto promotions that investigator Coffeezilla laid out in detail, the backlash to the Lunchly launch with Logan Paul and MrBeast after DanTDM and Dr. Mike weighed in, and the music releases that piled up record numbers of dislikes. The thread running through all of it is the same: a creator who deflected every criticism as hate, recast every investigator as a clout chaser, and seemed unable to recognise when he was actually in the wrong. This video is commentary and analysis based on public reporting. Allegations regarding crypto promotions are as presented by Coffeezilla and others and remain contested.

KSI survived controversy for years. What he couldn't survive was his own response to it, deflecting every criticism instead of ever taking the L. So what's your take: did the scandals sink him, or did his ego do it? And is there any way back from here?

He’s in the thick of it, everybody knows

@nathan3926 3 months ago

He's getting less views than the sidemen now beautiful things

God, that insecure "I'm definitely not mad" laugh he does is obnoxious

Don’t forget the promoting OF girls to literal kids. Yes. KSI has done that multiple times.

He’s insufferable, like Mr Beast

Slowly we'll forget about him.

You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself becomes the villian

old KSI was humble doing videos just for the fun of it. Doing videos on carpark at friends place and it was actually fun. Now this is a different one, he's consumed by greed and it started when he got associated to Logan

Handling the tommy fury fight like that, befriending mr beast, dan tdm... crypto, was the begining of the fall. and leaving the sidemen is the nail in the coffin. Glad he didn't drag the other boys down

Now that the UK is banning under 16s from Social Media, KSI's entire fanbase legally can't watch him anymore 😂

Every interview hes been a part of asks him about the success of the sidemen and note how cool it is that they created that as a genuine group of friends. He has low social IQ if he couldnt pick up on all the signs that Sidemen were a huge part of the reason ppl liked him

He definitely has a deserved downfall but its definitely not satisfying. I always loved KSI. Its a shame he had to go down this path

Prime example of someone on a bad lil vibe

He lost his only safety nets, the Sidemen. Sidemen lost nothing.

You either fall out of favor with the viewers, or sniff your own farts for so long that you inevitably become the villain.

The dude's ego is sickening 😂

he tries to hard to be like logan paul now. ksi used to care about his fans making funny videos. logan paul only cared about the attention and controversy he brought. it’s a shame really

Bro is insecure after watching Speed's success that's why he left sidemen

Think about it: Why does KSI always get mad when things don't go his way? Because every little slip up in each big event he does makes him lose his authority and appeal. Hence his never to return to boxing after losing to Tommy Fury, hence nothing came out since his last song Low that everybody hated, his last two singles didn't even make the charts, so he distances himself. Then the Sidemen split: they aren't pulling the same numbers of his own channel, so he abandons the Sidemen to focus on growing his own brand in America to hold more authority now that he's institutionalized as a mainstream TV celebrity. Go look up his early career with Maker studios and how they shaped the creator pay platform on YouTube. Read and understand this and you will know who the real KSI is.
