Jin Sakai being the first shinobi is actually insane, legendary status ✋😭✋

I love how khotun khan wasn’t mentioned in the tale “you will be forgotten”

Honestly I just love that Atsu's response to all this is basically "He sounds fucking cool, wish we could have grabbed a beer and shit-talked the Samurai together."

Jin's escape to Ezo makes sense: during the time of the Mongol invasion, Ezo was outside the shogun's sphere of influence (and out of the samurai's control in general), so it was indeed a good place to flee to.

I was half expecting the tale to depict Jin as a 10 foot tall demon with glowing red eyes that drove the Mongols away lol

If you go up in the rafters of the home, you see Yuna’s knife, and on the walls next to the knife, you see little colorings and doodles of Mt Yotei that looks drawn from a child’s perspective. Take that as you will 🙏🏻

To think he’s been hunted day and night which forced him to leave his friends and family behind is so painful

This was the first time Jin Sakai was called a “shinobi”

@Pingas20 1 year ago

That means Jin Sakai lived up to his max before dying.

My bro finally got the peace he deserved

@sorcerous8401 1 year ago

Jin got that Ezio treatment, travelling and living till old age and dying peacefully somewhere

So glad Jin has a mythic tale just for him. That Sakai armour is NEVER coming off now

@BlackHood92 1 year ago

It's confirmed then, Jin Sakai was the first Shinobi.

It’s cool how the Khan isn’t mentioned but rather grouped in with all the rest of the mongols. Really confirms that the Khan was indeed forgotten and Jin wasnt. Just like he said in the final battle between the two.
