This time, I took a relaxing wine trip to Katsunuma in Yamanashi, Japan.

Starting from Katsunuma-Budokyo Station, I enjoyed the peaceful vineyard scenery and visited wineries in the area.
At Chateau Mercian, I tasted several Japanese wines, including Chardonnay from the Hokushin area and red wine from Jyonohira, while getting a small glimpse into the depth of Japanese winemaking.

The room had a beautiful view of the vineyards, and in the evening, I enjoyed a course dinner with local Yamanashi ingredients and wine.
The scenery slowly changed from sunset to night view, making the time in Katsunuma feel even more special.

Even if you are not an expert on wine, Katsunuma is a lovely place to enjoy vineyards, wineries, food, and a calm countryside atmosphere.
