Okay but like imagine if quest one, garek gets asked to deal with some rats and says hey, I'm a commander now, get some deathguard on it while I investigate something more important as an intro to controlling multiple groups at once, then the undercity invasion you actually get to play as captain of the guard garek instead of just mmorpg-man garek.  Character growth and all that jazz!

23:22 the difficulty varies very wildly based on your item drop luck. If you were not lucky enough to get the spell cast on autoattack items like chain lightning, you can end up in a situation where you straight up do not have enough dps to clear the infinitely spawning mobs without spamming spells. In turn, you don't have enough mana for the boss fights. Fighting a boss without spells and half the auto attack dps makes the difficulty spike way up.

This luck difference on the final act can be extreme enough to result in a very lucky player A-move the fights in seconds, while a bottom of the barrel luck player will be forced to cheese to have any chance of winning due to not having enough dps available otherwise.

I played the campaign 3 times. One super unlucky run, one average run, one above average run. The super unlucky run had less than 1/3 the damage available compared to the above average run. Said above average run has less than half the damage output of actually lucky runs. The difficulty experience is not even in the same ballpark.

Giant Evil Elf games returns. Will today be the day that his evil elf turns into a drakken laser drill?

How perfectly timed it would have been if Garithos was the third hero.

That mission was so hard, the one where the Scarlets are invading- but I was also keeping Garithos alive through it ALL. I was really disappointed when he never showed up again :(

On one hand, it's kinda weird to have two strength heroes and one agility hero, but at the same time it's kinda cool that they brough Leonid the Revered in, he was always one of the most interesting Argent Dawn members in WoW

TO be fair, in classic, lots of assets were reused- like Centaur-hide rugs for the Dark Horde in Blackrock Mountain and surrounding territories... the one Orc faction that never went to Kalimdor. And in Classic, they even got a whole kodo herd too. No reason why, they just did.

23:22 tbh I guess sometimes lol during this part of the mission I was getting shredded by the scarlet crusade guys, I probably just had a poor build or items or something but I really had to sweat it up to make it through this section without getting killed constantly lol

obviously the 7 healing is a reference to the Classic troll passive of 5 hp.a tick

Glad to see this continue! Can't wait to see you experience the rest of it. Also yeah unless you're insanely bad at this game, it doesn't take anywhere near 30 hours to complete the whole campaign. 10-15 even if you do every sidequest and explore every single map.

Also there's no way they didn't nerf that blademaster boss. I played on the easiest difficulty and had top tier equipment and his bladestorm 1: went off consistently with only like a 5 second cooldown, and 2: melted everyone's health.

Also, Grant: "How is Garek so confident about the Scarlet Crusade?" Garek: makes an educated guess based on the AT LEAST ONE YEAR of study into the aspects of the light and then comparing that against the examples of the scarlet crusade's commanders' personalities Grant: "Yeah but how does he know..?"

5:10 is that an Hydra sound effect???

12:08 I'm pretty sure the mana potions and mana scrolls can become one stack, and I don't know if you've moved your in-combat ones to your 5-slot hot bar.
1749 i'm pretty sure it was zach, waiting for chat to confirm.
2224 aesthetically this is still the most pretty campaign look at those lower fights!

I really loved the new campaign lore-wise and the new gameplay gimmicks and stuff, since i'm a fan of solo RPGs and lowkey i liked the fact that it' all Rexxar-like. But on the other had it feels like the balance here is awful — it's so eazy to over-optimize your heroes' build and make the entire campaign a breeze after just a couple of hours of playing (though the first couple hours are exactly the opposite). I would really hope that the new patches make it kind of tougher and more even.

I don't mean to complain but I'm a bit jealous that both Jay and Grant got a lego in battle of Undercity and I never did. :/
Edit: R.I.P. He never saved...

Is forsaken kingdom worth the $30 usd admission price?

I'm very tired of dark rangers, we had too much Sylvanas for years so i'm really annoyed by Anya in general

1:19:20 Grant. That's a VERY tempting crop........ I mean..... Skip the "eye" XD.
