Bloodshot is the last movie we saw in theaters. We saw it with our SinWeek attendee friends. And it was hilariously bad. So it was a privilege to count the sins of Bloodshot. An honor. Oh, who am I kidding? This movie sucks balls and is a slog to get through. But we did it anyway!

Thursday: giant sins.

Remember, no movie is without sin! Which movie's sins should we expose next?!

Vin Diesel has been playing Vin Diesel in all his movies for the past 15 years

"What about Lazarus-- that dude from the bible that Jesus raised from the-- WHAT ABOUT JESUS?!?!" Best line in a long time, I got tears from laughing too much

As the years go on I hear more and more distress in Jeremy’s voice with a sin he’s extra passionate about.

“What about JEsuS”

They have to use slow mo so much because Vin Diesel actually moves at twice the human speed.

"WHAT ABOUT JESUS?!?"

The unholy laugh that escaped my body

I'm glad he removed a sin for the "I need real friends" scene that had me cracking up!

Something else that needs a sin but can't: When the trailer for this was shown in the movie theaters, they revealed the big surprise of the film, leaving you with only Vin Diesel and flour power to look forward to.

“Vin Diesel plays himself or a character who acts like him in a sub-par action movie.” Cliche

“WHAT ABOUT JESUS” I couldn’t breathe from laughing so hard when he said that 3:17

This could have been an Netflix exclusive and nobody would have known the difference

That flour scene needed more sins. I mean it was telegraphed and i was waiting for the giant explosion to kill them all and was convinced that was the plan, and then it never happens! Even Black Butler Book of Circus had a flour explosion. Myth Busters went over the flour mill explosions. God, who doesn't know this.

You missed his best catchphrase: Welcome to the Xander zone!

"Oscar Pistorius, the prosthetic-legged assassin."
So, Oscar Pistorius?

Still my second-favorite Guy Pierce movie about a trained killer with damaged memories being tricked into assassinating multiple people by convincing him they killed his lover.

I was watching that "Flour in the tunnel " scene and wondering if the combustibility of flour was going to be pointed out.
If you want to see how bad a flour explosion can be, look up grain mill explosions. In at least a couple cases, they have been caused by a spark, from an ungreased conveyor belt bearing.

Yes. As a Kenyan, we are highly connected in terms of communication and digital platforms.

The flour truck scene frustrated me. I was sitting there and was like "oh yeah, he's gonna trick them into shooting and cause a massive flour explosion!". The second they light those flares, the entire tunnel should go up in flames!

Hello CinemaSins, as a Mombasa Kenya resident 😂, I can confirm that there are very many satellite TV receivers hanging out the balconies and on the rooftops and we are pretty much connected. But I couldn’t really tell if that is really Mombasa judging from that shot so, that’s a sin👍

Having never read the Bloodshot comic books, I have researched the character and I find out that before Vin's take, Jason David Frank (Tommy Oliver from Power Rangers) played Bloodshot, and look wise, he was more faithful to the source material (keeping in mind, I've also never watched Ninjak vs the Valiant Universe either).
