“Lucifer” is a real name, and isn’t actually mentioned in the Bible. In fact, it has Latin origins, meaning “bringer of light.” Quite a far cry from Satan, don’t you think?

3:00 Lol, that made my day.

This simply has got to be my favorite episode of Stories from Sodor since it's finally released.

At least we got to see who that black ghost engine was and a great, but depressing backstory about Lucifer.

9:45, Alfred just dissed him!

To be fair, if you name an engine “Lucifer” you’re pretty much begging for it to come back as a vengeful spirit

It's nice to see Arthur's branch line as it's quite rare to see it sometimes. And the story was great and I could tell some parts that were inspired by other ghosts stories :)

Since trackmaster was my childhood Thomas toy line I have nothing but respect for all the hard work in the sets and engines

Honestly, when Lucifer makes that little toot of his whistle- it's kinda cute and very nice. He's showing that he actually realizes what he did was wrong, and he actually shows that he realizes what he did, instead of just backing away into the darkness.

Yes, I'm making this comment in 2021, a 2021 comment on a 2019 video.

A very impressive episode. I was especially looking forward to this one when I recorded my lines for it.

Y’know this whole story is kind of ironic if you think about Victor Tanzig’s Stories of Sodor. Because in that series, Arthur is the ghost, but in this one he sees the ghost.
