In fact, Jimin was the last member to join the group, not V. V was an unannounced member and was the last to be officially announced. Another point mentioned in the video is also true: all K-pop groups adhere to a specific weight and don't eat much. This was a well-known policy among most K-pop groups.

BTS was the first K-pop group to create behind-the-scenes content in the way they do, and many groups were inspired by them; this particularly helped smaller groups that don't have many opportunities to promote their work.

Remember all those logs were on their website. V was a hidden member so they didn’t post him till debut. Jimin was the last member with the shortest training period.

Some of this is meant to show that BTS’s label was a bit better than the other labels. Remember they are stating Korean age here. JK was 13, Jimin and V were 16 etc. ty

The Rise of Bangtan is the Holy Grail of BTS documentaries. Sadly few most reactors who love it rarely get more than a few episodes in. A lot of outstanding documentary work winds up barely viewed.
The thing about V is that Big Hit realized he was unique from the get-go. He was hidden as small Big Hit feared a Big 3 Corporation might try to swipe him while he was a trainee.
As to families, they are kept outside the trainee system so situations like MacCauley Culkin's dad or parent managers do not happen. Training is like an ongoing camp and parents are not part of it.

Jimin was the last member with the shortest training period. V was already part of the team but was not revealed until the debut day. He was behind the cameras every time the others did their recordings.
