Amazing how the lore of apex creates a complex web connecting all there stories and origins together, had no idea crypto and caustic were half brothers lol
Seer does actually have a little bit of lore dealing with his heirloom, though it’s not much. He competed in the Arenas before the Apex games, and in what was perhaps his most pivotal match both him and his opponent had no ammo and had to resort to using their blades. The comic that corresponded to this bit of lore depicts Seer using his heirloom for this fight
Another neat detail I heard is that Fuse’s swinging animations are almost identical to Bloodhounds, meaning they possibly trained Fuse on how to use axe-like weapons.
Now that I know that there is at least SOME lore in Ash's heirloom (In the weapon itself), I like it a bit more. Valks heirloom being confirmed to not have any lore in the weapon itself confirms my "The only reason they gave her that spear is because of her name" theory
15:45 as someone who's great grandmother suffered from dementia, this Easter egg made me cry because there's a pain that comes with realizing that you're slowly being forgotten by someone you love the most.. and I know it pained him deeply knowing his mother was slowly forgetting him especially when he had to be seeking attention to stand out from his other 3 brothers but knowing his mother loved and supported him was always enough for him to smile genuinely and carry on..
1. The raven didn’t tell Artur Bloodhound used the weapon. It was instead indicated by the burnmarks and the smell of the horn.
2. I have a theory that Octane’s knife likely belonged to Duardo (Torres) Silva with him using the stim to keep himself alive, he might have used the knife before he got the cane resulting in Octane somehow getting his hands on it.
3. Seer actually has some heirloom lore: On twitter there was a video showing seer fighting in the arenas using his heirloom, so it’s likely he is just using one of his arena weapons.
