You guys laugh at the bathtub overlooking the bedroom…but my parents, who have been DVC members for almost 25 years, specifically modeled their bathroom years ago after Old Key West to have shutters that opened to their bedroom so you could watch tv from the tub 😂😂😂

Back in the early 90s, Olivia’s hosted the only Winnie the Pooh & Friends breakfast on property.  But in 1996, when the Crystal Palace switched from a cafeteria-style restaurant to character dining, the Hundred Acre Gang made the move over to Magic Kingdom. 🍯

Honestly, this is my favorite DVC resort. I’ve been to almost all of them, but I always end up coming back to Old Key West. There’s just something about it that I love ❤️

This was the best best best stay with sensitive kids. We had a one bedroom with kitchen and w/d and rented a car. Could go straight back to the room from the parks and do whatever we needed. It was GLORIOUS. plus our room had a view of the sweet riverboat. Dead.

OKW definitely feels like the Golden Girls’ Disney resort—in the best possible way!👜👵🏻

Old Key West in a 1 bedroom villa was the very first Disney Resort that my husband and I stayed in and let me tell you, after staying there for 10 days.. we can never go back to staying in  an Airbnb or an off property hotel. We LOVED it here! If we werent travelling again with my 7 year old in August, we would have stayed here again but he wanted to stay in a cabin at Disneys Fort Wilderness. Also excited for that experience but my heart will always be at Old Key West!

13:28 - the sound Alan makes is worth the entire watch.

I just stayed here for the first time last week. The rooms are huge, which was very nice. However the bus times are wildly inaccurate. Every stop has a pickup time and an estimated arrival at the park time. The park arrival time was roughly 20 minutes after pickup, but it took longer than that just to make the loop around the resort. It didn't seem to matter which bus stop we chose, it consistently took around 45 minutes to actually get to the parks. This was fine once we realized it and built it into our travel time, but we had to rearrange an early breakfast reservation and fiddle faddle a prebooked lightning lane because of this. Overall, the nice room didn't make up for the added frustration, so we won't stay here again. If you're doing more of a resort/disney springs stay and not going to the parks every day, this would be a good choice.

My Family is DVC. My wife and stayed here for our 1st Anniversary and she was 4 and half months pregnant with our daughter. On our anniversary when we came back from the parks there was awaiting us a bottle of champagne and sparkling cider. We sat on our balcony and watched the golfers teeing off while drinking coffee and having breakfast. I was jealous of them being a golfer and Buena vista is my fav course besides magnolia. But back the stay, we had many meals at Olivia's and this is one of our fav non-home base options. The staff is actually the best part of the stay, always.

We love this resort! The drinks at the Gurgling Suitcase will “get the hitch out of your giddy-up” after a long park day!

Sundays are better with mammoth club, love you guys

Love OKW. I feel like it's never mentioned and a hidden gem. We stayed there for our daughter's first trip when she was very young and needed naps so it was perfect for us to come back to and relax at. We also luckily got a room pretty close to the front lobby/hospitality of the resort so we picked up the bus to the parks at the front. And we learned quickly to get off at the first bus stop on the way back and just walk slightly more than wait to take the full bus loop. So having a room near the front near hospitality if you plan to go there a lot and for easier access to the parks is the way to go.

I cannot wait for the Zetus Lepetus episode with Father of the Bride! That movie means so much to me because my husband and I decided to watch it the night that we got engaged. So super sweet memories of it.

I grew up staying at Old Key West so this is the ultimate nostalgia video for me! Does anyone else miss the pink tiles in the villas, though? The hard wood floors just don’t have the same vibe! Still a beautiful resort.

So happy you enjoyed, I'm cast here!

We stayed in a one br at OKW in Sept 2020-soon after the reopening.  Incredibly quiet, and what a fantastic room.  Having your own kitchen and laundry is such a massive plus.

This is our home resort and we absolutely LOVE it! Its so quite and peaceful and the rooms are huge!

Old Key West Resort is my 2nd home! I've been going to Walt Disney World since I took my first steps. Forever love it with all of my heart! Also love your videos!!!!!!! ❤❤❤

THANK YOU for showing this resort - my hubby and I stayed there a million years ago when we were on honeymoon. We still remember it !

Please… I need a recap video of all of Alan’s bed rankings in one place! 🛌 💤
