I think we can all agree that making Robin Williams the Genie was the best decision Disney ever made. 95% of the dialogue was him just improvising.

We ain't never knew a guy like him.

Even as a kid i found it fascinating that the genie has the power to bring back the dead he just chooses not to do it

I heard somewhere that Robin Williams just improved his lines and the artists just animated what he performed. If that's true, it was brilliant.

Somebody once said that to capture Robin Williams’s pure talent and energy is like trying to capture lightning with a butterfly net.

And I honestly think his role as the Genie best exemplifies that very energy and talent.

Rest in peace Robin Williams. Thank you for giving us all you had. If only we could have given you as much as you needed in turn.

Once read that Robin Williams gave them 15 hours worth of content to pick and choose from. Also, every time I hear his voice I can't help but crack a smile.

The animated version of The Aladdin was made and came out back in 1992 and Jasmine has a pet tiger 🐅 named Rajah and Robin Williams was the voice of the genie and Gilbert Gottfried was the voice of the parrot and I prefer the original animated version of Aladdin

Robin Williams was such a comedic legend. Be sure to look up "Robin Williams Genie Behind the Scenes" on YouTube; there's a video of outtakes so you can see all the stuff he improvised that didn't make the cut.
