My 206HP Honda CBR1000RR-R SP FIREBLADE should be an absolute MONSTER on the drag strip… but something is seriously WRONG!

After getting the Honda dialed in on the Moore Mafia dyno and making 206 horsepower, it was finally time to see what this thing could do at the track!

First, we installed our Brock’s Performance lowering parts to get the bike ready for drag racing. Then I challenged Chris Moore from Moore Mafia to a race on his Kawasaki ZX-10R!

But things didn’t go as planned…

The FIREBLADE was SLOW! After reviewing data from our Woolich Racing log box, we discovered the bike wasn’t even going WIDE OPEN because of restrictions in the ECU torque control tables!

We made changes and thought we finally had it figured out. So we headed to Maryland International Raceway (MIR) to put the Honda to the test in the quarter mile.

Then ANOTHER problem showed up! The clutch started slipping at high RPM. We shimmed the clutch springs, got the clutch holding, and made another pass.

The result? ONLY 153 MPH!

That’s NOT what we expected from a 206HP motorcycle!

After fighting one problem after another, we decided to call it quits and head back to the drawing board.

Can we figure out what’s holding this Honda back and finally unleash all 206 horsepower?

WATCH UNTIL THE END and let me know what you think is wrong with this FIREBLADE!
