I met my uncle, Hanif, just a few days ago in Lahore. He lives in Model Town, Lahore. I sat with him in person just last week and heard the whole story of the 1947 Partition of India and Pakistan directly from him. Even after hearing it from him face to face, I still can’t believe what he went through. It’s such a heartbreaking and painful story. And the sister he mentioned, Shifan Bibi, was my paternal grandmother (my Dadi Amma). She passed away in 2020.😢😢😢May Allah highest Rank in Jannah...,🙏🏻

I am a grand son of Hanif sahib's sister (Sharifan bibi) from chak 94/NP which he mentioned in the interview I just want to say that the pain they gone through can't get explain. Our grandmother (Hanif sahib's sister) remembered the 47 Tragedy until her death and she always missed her parents.

I'm very impressed and relieved that our country has given birth to educated and top notch professionals. It was my honor to watch this interview. His parents would have been proud of him.

My grand father were killed and my father seriously injured while leaving their village of Jalendher.three sisters and mother and one injured son lived in camp for a year.later they got 3 storey building in sant nagar and kept tennates to get some earnings. This house was occupied by tennates and this family was evacuated. My father remained silent throughout his life and never and could not narrate his story. He was very honest and used to care for poor even we had tough life amounting to no food ,no clothes etc.My mother supported my father and children and on loan reared us.we 2 are doctors, one cosmotologest one coder in America my one phopho went to india to see her house after 65 years.she was 5 in 1947.
